| I was wondering where I can get online prints like the size of senior protraits and bigger... I know the senir pics arent that big and all I just dunn know where online it is... I know you all talk abou tthe place but the search is dissabled... any help would be awsome thanx! |

I really like mpix.com I have no problems with prints, the largest I have ordered from them is a 16x20 so far, but that is normally the largest a senior goes anyway. Wallets are die cut for you (looks nice and professional) Pics can be mounted on board with a UV coat (also very professional). I love the quality, fast turn around, and color.
You should give them a try.

This is the site I was looking for! I was wondering if you could give me a quick walk-through of what kind of paper and sizes I should do for senior pics... is sending them the pics hard? what do I have to do for it? I know this sounds noobish of me asking, but I am only 18 and this is ym first payed pics I am doing for someone and it has me NERVOUS! I have had lots of people ask me to do pics for them, but I havn't had enough people photography (in my mind) and it makes me nervous so I am doing them for friends and I dunn want to mess it up!

I may be answering too late, but mpix does matte paper, metallic paper, and true digital black and white. They offer a sample paper package that you should request.
Seniors need alot of wallets. I would make sure that you have deals. Mpix gives you a discount for quantity so have one price for 8 wallets and a reduced price for 44 wallets of the same pose. You will sell a lot of 5x7s and 8x10s. Offer 11x14 and 16x20 as wall portraits for the moms. Remember when you are shooting to get something the mom and grandma will fall in love with not just the fun casual shots that all the kids love!
Kids want fashion trendy, magazine type photos. Moms want dressy, classic images that can be on the wall forever.
I like the Professional Endura paper. I will use metallic paper for some of the trendy shots (they look really 3-d). If you do digital imaging and effects this looks really cool.
Also, a lot of photographers offer Senior graduation announcements. They design the image and text on a 5x7 and order this in quantities. Mpix doesn't offer the 5x7 envelopes so just ask your local paper supply company.
