I think I'll have to give Negitive space a skip. Asside from being disapointe with my last two entries, the pollen and misquitoes are really getting me down.

OK, pollen and mozzies are a pain, and OK, you're last shots haven't fully hit the mark with the voters - I know how that feels - but, you've had some pretty sharp eyed shots in the past. You could always go for a cool indoor shot... Everybody has off days; I've seen some of your shots, and hey, when you DO hit the mark it's pretty full on...
Keep shooting, if you're stuck for ideas, post a message - I'm sure somebody will offer a little inspiration...

Hmmm...sounds like the way you're feeling a self-portrait would be just the thing...but I hope things turn more positive soon!

I was uninspired also but, based on the discussions I have seen so far, I think I may do it anyway. My own idea of negative space hasn't been discussed. :)

I had a shot set up in my mind exactly how I wanted it and everything. I got that shot perfectly, after a few hours of trying and getting all set up and everything... then I thought of something else, and shot it in like, 5 mins. That is the photo I am currently going to enter. It may change it may not.
It just goes to show that inspiration can hit you anytime and anywhere, so don't give up just yet, but keep an open eye.

Beth, Just shoot for fun, enjoy it, and you just may find yourself meeting the challenge after all. As for disappointment, I understand that all too well. Actually, though, I've turned the corner, and somehow I am not AS concerned as I used to be about votes. I'm here to learn and help others learn. It's the process that is important to me now.

Have to head out to do laundry so I WILL take my camera along.
