For convenience... apply coupon codes "6$K9TPJ191?VTZ" and "S$0BW75H54S60M" and the price falls to $809.10. That's $40 less than the already-great deal posted yesterday.

There is a coupon code in another thread for Dell that reduces the price down to 764.15 (15% off). Limited time only, maybe be done already, but they were honoring it yesterday at least.

BTW, this was for the body only, spose it woulda worked for the kit as well.

Is it only for US residents?
Do they apply/ship it outside the US? Brazil to be more exact?

I talked my Mother into getting a 300D + the 70-300mm IS model not too long ago while the canon rebates were going on with the 15% off dells higher prices + a stacked coupon... In the end it would have been a good deal but if you talk to my mom see will never use them again...

Got an email saying camera was on the way...but the lens would be backordered a couple weeks...see got the cam in a few days...

The day before the canon rebates ran out see got an email stating that they could not fulfill her order in a timely matter and that they would be canceling the lens that was on backorder.

Well they cancelled the lens, but when my mom got her bill it was full price for camera and lens...she had to get with CC people and have them straighten it out with dell...

Ok so she lost the 2x Rebate on the Camera and the x2 rebate on the lens, she sent the rebate for the 300D in and Canon came back and told her that there was something bogus there and didn't honor it...dell goofed (used) I have no idea what happened there but the bottom line is Dell has some issues...I have seen people not have any problems with them and then I have seen what my mom went through.

I ordered the 20D w/256 CF from dell yesterday for $1269 shipped, after signing up for their premier credit. I don't pay interest until next January (9 months from now). Until then I pay only $38 per month. If I pay it off with my last payment (in Dec.) I will have avoided all interest charges.

I'm getting back into weddings (after a 25-year hiatus). The 20D should serve me well there, ...and my 10D will be an able backup!

Life is good!!

I agree with awpollard, dells service after the sale is VERY VERY bad. I told my wife to shoot me if I ever buy from dell again in the future.

She keeps placing the dell advertising mag. on my desk, think she is trying to tell me something lmao

A co-worker told me I had a caller from Dell on the line today and I just glared at her (we're an all-Macintosh office), so she brushed him off. It just occurred to me that I ordered a 350D from them yesterday and they might be calling in reference to that. Oops! Fortunately, the order is already in DHL's hands and should be in mine Monday.

I hate you guys. ;)

I couldn't resist. I haven't sold my Rebel yet (nor tried very hard), but I ordered the XT body for $719 + $7 shipping. Couldn't pass up such a good deal!

I was a tad impatient myself.....paid just a bit to much for my XT at Circuit City, but I didn't pay shipping, didn't have to use my credit card onine, didn't have to wait for delivery........and ya know what? The batteries were charged.....at least enough to use while the other one was charging. Had it unpacked in the car on the ride home. I've had it about 24 hours now and shot a little under 200 pics. Going out in a couple minutes to shoot a blue ribbon abandoned building.

$774? Something is amiss. I'm guessing you either got the Rebel XT body only or the 300D. Hope you aren't disappointed.
