I am so bummed with my 5.3 because not only did I think it was agreat pic but so cpmpletely, right up the DPC alley. I was 200% certain that I would be basking in the glow of a 6.3 or better.
Wha Happened? With only 4 comments nothing has elightened me as to why so low so I can't wait for the post game showing.

As usual I submitted something that I knew would be different and stand out from the crowd and my score reflects that. Those that like it really like it and those that don't are obviously giving low scores. I'm happy because it's probably the best (and most fun) picture of my dog to date and this challenge has provided that for me. She's 16yrs old so I need as many good captures as possible because her time is limmited.

Zapperac-Way to go. Fantastic number for a maiden voyage. I'm 42 and only at 5.3 Ony 11 and giving me tough competition...have you ever thought about taking up the violin?

For the profile pref's they offer birth years as far back as 1920. I accidently put in 1921 (83). It's been corrected (84).
Ya gotta figure the older you are the wiser you might sound and I need all the edge I can get. Sound logic. Right?
...probably doesn't work in my case, however.
I'm only 42 but the oxygen tent sounds like a fine idea, just the same. Though a few frosty Heinekens at the end of the day will work just fine.

Do women comment more than men??
6 out of 8 comments for me are from women. I looked back on some of my other images and I feel like more than half are from women..
Anyone else notice this pattern?

Not that difficult to explain really! A lot of folks don't leave any comments that might be construed as being the least bit negative for fear of getting snarky emails.
Another factor to be considered is the sheer number of entries for a challenge these days. Once people have voted on the required 20%, they may not feel like adding comments to the mix.
Just my 2 cents worth.
Oh I forgot.... Low 5's is not a bad score in this realm, believe me.

feels kind of wierd that the number of votes is almost half of the number of entries. :(
