Oh, and CANON, why is your .CR2 not .CR2? Surely your cameras sould be all using the same standards! |

Version 2.4 does NOT work with RAW files from the 350D. Version 3 does BUT version 3 only works with CS2. Unless you upgrade your CS to CS2 you will not be able to work with your RAW files in PS. It is a bummer. The Canon software that ships with the 350D does a fine job with the RAW files - it's just another step and that is the bad part. |

I've decided, since I'm only borrowing the 350D for a short period, that I'll try the free 'tryout' version of PSCS2 to convert the files to DNG or TIFF. I hope my trial period doesn't run out before CANON return my 20D after replacing the shutter (another well documented problem with their cameras-error 99). |

It works... Photoshop CS2 plus update the RAW plug-in (now v.3.2) and use DNG convertor. That way I can always open them again withh the older version of CS when my CS2 trial period ends. |
