Which photos did you really like but think should have fared much better in the challenge.

I personally think JMSetzler's photo HERE should have been ranked a bit higher, possibly in the top 10.

OK, for me this isn't really about saying a photo should have done better, but there are always some that I think were unappreciated by the masses. The most surprising one to me this week is "Roller Coaster Face"!!! Why on earth did that end up so low?

After that, I would say "Caught Napping" was probably only damaged by the idea that candid photos have to be of people, and definitely not of SLEEPING animals, because quality-wise it's a beautiful photo. Then "Sir Andrew at the Makeup Mirror" surprised me by coming as low as 114th, as well as "Tyler" at 113th. "Demonic Drummer" was penalised for resembling a snapshot, which is a deadly sin, despite being an awesome shot. I really don't understand the low score/ranking on "Lap Dog" at all. "Beach Treasures" is a beautiful photo that came in a bit low also. "Sleeping in Sydney" (apart from the typo) seemed to deserve better to me, but I could be biased.

There are photos in the top 50 or so that I would have loved to see with higher scores, but the fact that they did as well as that shows many others saw what I saw, so I'm happy :)

That was one of my top 3.
That whole photo hit the spot.
Especially because there is a Pabst Blue Ribbon Sign
in the back.
I`m bumbed I can`t drink PBR here in Japan.

I like "My Turn Next", maybe because I like the kid themes. Of the top 20 images I think I voted 18 of them 7 or higher, so I think I was kind of traveling the beaten path. I think there is potential in "Excursion" but it seems to be missing something. Maybe a Bud bottle or something to capitalize on that nice shiny bar. I think I gave it a 7 anyway. That was only the second time I've voted and I just submitted my first challenge shot w/the veggies, and I know very little about photography in general, so take that with a grain of salt you need 2 hands to pick up.

I thought "Walkin the dog" such an elegant photo should have done better--also Tyler--stunning charisma and Photo op Big Sur---really funny.

I gave it an 8. I like the reality of it. The lighting is perfect... almost rustic. Reminds me of places I frequent. The bar. If only they could talk.

I am astounded at where 'News, day by day' ended up. It's beautiful and calm. Face well lit against the bright windows. It was my # 3 pick.
