I have always wanted to coin a word. Now's my chance.
You all know the word onomatopoeia meaning a word that sounds like it's meaning. Examples: Buzz, moan, crack.
How about a photo that looks like its DPC Challenge? If the challenge was "Exciting," the photo would be exciting to look at. More to the point, if the the challenge was "Bored," the photos would be boring to look at. I suggest that is exactly what's happening in the "Bored" challenge. Although there are some good counter examples ... exceptions that prove the rule.
And now I hereby coin the new word photomatopoeia to describe the phenomenon. |

Woo hoo finaly I managed to get through a challenge without the "photo is to soft" comment. I actualy managed to get a "photo looks too sharp". All positive comments other than that as well.. Now if only I could figure out why with 6 positive comments my score is so low. This is my second lowest ever.
