Excellent week for wildlife photography! The critters are really pushing Spring. I still have some Kestrels, Northern Harriers, and a Mink I haven't photographed. All feedback welcomed.

They are all nice... but I just love the first one.

Nice details and its sharp.

Excellent work.

Looks like you've been getting out there, and have got the part about tracking them down figured out. Hawks are a challenge for me.

In your bird shots the sky is looking fairly noisey on my screen. I'd reccommend trying to shoot at a lower ISO, or use Neat Image to clean up the backgrounds.

Nice close shot in Ground Hog 3.

I can see it now. I think I might have over edited, but I'll try the lower ISO. Thanks.

That's quite a game preserve you have. Redwing blackbirds are so cool. I had 8 deer in my backyard this morning, but was too tired to lift a camera.

Its actually at the Mustang assembly plant where I work. I'm out at the test track in the back of the property, and the place is overflowing with field mice. Even the kestrels are nailing mice. Its funny to watch them fly with their oversized payload. The deer should come in next month and start looking for birthing spots.

Just wish he was in a tree instead of on the fence.

Actually, I love the fence.
It has such a nice color that ties the whole thing together. Also, since most people try to avoid 'unnatural' elements it makes your photo unusual (in a good way) and it makes a statement about man encroaching on nature. You've done a job making it part of the composition, it could have just as easily made the whole thing look rather like a snapshot.

It's perfect just the way it is.
