Here's something that I loke a lot and you don't see it every day... But it works great.

Do you have some tipe of collages? Show us how it looks like

Here's an example that I've found:

Here are two recent collages that I made. My daughter is currently my most available model. I am getting started taking some pictures of other people's (my friends at the moment) kids, and collages are something that they always flip over.

I am not sure what kind of tips you are looking for, but if I can help you in any way I am happy to try. I made these in PSE.

Here is a brief summary of how to get started, but if you have more detailed questions please post them.

Basically start out with a new document in Photoshop, or a picture that you want to be the background. Open each of the other pictures individually. Make the windows small (i.e., not full screen) so that you can see both the background and the photos to add. Use the move tool to drag the pictures onto the background. Each smaller picture will become its own layer in the collage. Also use the move tool to position/resize/transform all the smaller pictures.

For the blue collage, I made the opacity of the background shot something like 70% to make it fade out a bit. You can add drop shadows and borders and text and things.

If this isn't clear, or if I missed some question that you have let me know. My biggest recommendation is just to open a bunch of shots in Photoshop and play around with it.

I loved your collages. So beautifull. Nice models too. Nie to have kids so pretty to be lovely models (I'm thinking in "making" one myself).

But a few questions about the Charlotte collage: did you used a reflective surface to put the baby on it or did you put a drop shadow in Photoshop?

If anyone else have some examples to put here and be kind enough to explain them, it would be nice.

In the blue collage, she is sitting on a big piece of plexiglass, which makes that reflection. (The backdrop is a blanket, so it also helps to keep it from wrinkling where she in sitting on it.)

When I get bored I often do collages of myself similar to that.

Here's the three I've made:

Collage One
Collage Two
Collage Three

I actually linked these backwards, with the third one being the oldest and the first being the newest.

Very nice work mavric. Very good shoots and composition. Around here there's some people making wedding albums like that: they call it "digital album", regardless if it was shoot in digital or filg (I gess it's because the Photoshop or similar work behind it).

The april 2005 issue of Shutterbug has an article on this very subject - except they refer to as a montage.

The issue has a step by step on how to do it.

His website has some other amazing images.

yeah, that is what i want to produce when i start doing weddings!
//www.candid2000.com looks like an option - many of these online digital album places confuse me - at least the candid site makes sense. looks like they are wedding only, while other sites do any event.

We get ours printed through CMYK books and MyPublisher. We create them using Fotofusion by Lumapix and yes, we do these for weddings, bday, graduation - any reason someone would want one. :)
