Thanks to Kavey for organising.

Here are some shots I took. I'm going to claim that the poor quality is due to the fact that I wanted to be the first to post.

There was a theme of taking candids of the others running throughout the day. That's another reason I'm claiming to excuse the poor quality here.

Alan: Those pics are sharp and nice. What lens were you using?

That first shot was screaming surrealism!!! ;)!

Yeah, definitely a good day out. After lunch, we split into two groups, with half of us going up to Camden market (inc me), and the other half (inc AJAger) heading towards the Thames (or at least, that was their plan), so these shots are of places I didn't even see. Can't wait to see some more!

I'm busy processing the 170+ digi shots that I took, but here's the best of last night's pre-gtg shoot to keep you going :o)

Here are some pics of the people at the GTG. I don't know everyone's usernames so if you see you just leave a message and I'll update the pic info. If there's a pic you'd like me to take down, let me know as well. //www.pbase.com/chiqui74/dpcers

The first five were with the Sigma 12-24, the last three were with the Canon 28-135IS

guys and gals - first, a special thanks to kavita for organizing (oops, should i say organising?) all of this! i wish i could have hung out for the post walk drinks.

HERE are my photos from the walk.

For those who were not here, it was *&#$(#& cold and on-and-off raining during much of the 'photo' period (okay, part of which was spent in a pub).

I really enjoyed meeting all of you and look forward to seeing more photos from today, learning more from each other and inspiring each other to be better photographers!

I'm gonna sulk for a week. I haven't had a day off in 16 days, and I missed what looks like a great time. Blasted needing to work and be all responsible.

It looks like you guys had a great time! I hope like heck I can make the next one. :)

Hey everyone! Great to see what everyone saw from their view when being at the same place :)

I also would like to thank Kavey to manage to get us all to meet up. It was nice meeting you all and here are some of my shots.

A big thanks to Kavey for another great GTG.

First chance to upload any pictures, as we had a power cut last night and the lights only came back at 1.00 am

Twenty people - bloody amazing!
Thanks, everyone for coming and making it such a fun day...
Sorry I didn't get to spend time with everyone - with such a large group at lunch it meant talking to only half the group then and, of course, splitting into two groups, didn't see some of you in the afternoon.
However, I had a great time at lunch, Camden and dinner.
Will be looking at my pics and seeing if any are worth sharing ASAP!
Thanks again!

A certain husband left the 20D on 3200 ISO.
A certain wife didn't notice.

I only took 41 photos.
They suck.

I'll load some up anyway...

I hate when that happens. I can't blame my husband, though. He's only allowed to use the Kodak. (Just joking...he can use whichever one he can pry out of my hands.)

Forgot to add: Looks like everyone had a great time and some nice shots posted. Wish I was there.

Well it's mostly my own fault for not checking though I did ask whether he'd left it on regular settings... he didn't do it on purpose.
This was the very very first time I used our new 20D and I therefore wasn't familiar with it at all to really check or change settings - just pointed and shot pics!

Anyway, nothing I took is of much merit, as you can see above, so it's no harm done.

Besides which, he's got this cute face thing he does and you can't help but forgive a man when he does the cute face thing...

In my defence, I WAS supposed to have the 20D myself, but at the last minute was demoted to the D70. Of course, I also managed to leave the D70 on ISO1600 (doh!) so my pics aren't exactly perfect either!

Still, a couple of ok-ish ones...
