I think the midnight voters simply vote tens, to stir us crazy folk that are up this late, then they change their votes later anyway, haha!

I HATE it when I drop below 5!!!!! Why do I keep punishing myself? On the bright side, only 20 votes so far and with 400+ submissions, that leaves tons more 3,4 & 5 votes to go... Woo Hoo.

Ouch Paul: when I saw you posted here, I was actually expecting to see a big score. You are overdue on a ribbon, and I thought your time had come. :)

23 votes , 20 views , no comments. That sucks. I known I have a good image, maybe I just used it in the wrong challenge. Everybody else outside of the dp challenge group were very complimentary of my shot, in fact A neighbor of mine whants to enlarge it to a 13x17 print. oh well at least I made $70 bucks even thou my dpc avg score just took a nose dive. I'm still addicted to dp. -Good luck everybody -.

I had High hopes with this but its sitting only at 4.59, so I dont think I'll figure in the top spots this time,.!!!

Im blind.... I don't think I can see anymore......it's too bright....I can't vote anymore...oh my....I'm seeing visions of eggs...lots and lots of white eggs....( 33votes , avg score - 4.70).

I don't think I ever post a good score in one of these threads -- I'm not superstitious at all, but why take chances : )

I like to try out weird ideas, and don't put all that much time into taking the shots though, so I think any ribbon will be one of those right place/right time deals : )

This time, I was mostly intrigued by how close the scores had gotten (8/10,000) with such different numbers of votes, and I wanted to get it on the record. I'm always on the lookout to see if two of my photos have identical scores.

Well mines bombing so far. If you take the challenge literally background is white and the subject is predominately a "light" color. Be mindful of over-exposing your highlights!' then there are a lot of did not meets in this round. Quite hard this challenge. There are some great entries though (as always) good luck all.

Well, the late night/ early morning (or possibly European crowd) are a bit rougher... I just dropped from 5.8 to 5.5 in the last five votes, going from 40 votes recieved to 45....

same here: dropped from 6.05 to 5.66 in a few votes :(

This was going to be my entry, But I pulled it out at the last minute because I couldn't find the original file. And since you never know what can happen. I didn't take a chance. Anyway, just sharing.



Anyway, with 430 entries, I'm kind of happy it's out.

Quite disappointed as this was my favourite pic yet... In hindsite, I could have bumped up the levels even more, but was afraid of washing out the whites, which after seeing the entries, should not have been a worry at all...

There are some great pics in this challenge!

I just finished the first voting pass, and I have to say that I really enjoyed it. Quality of the pictures is really high, and I think my average vote for this challenge is going to be my higher so far.

Thanks to all for such a great effort :))

I never thought I'd say this but I'd really really apreciate a DQ request at this point in time... :(

Talk about booming, wow never ever been so low in the vote. Even my Brown ribbon was doing better than this.

I think one of my best shots ever. But is in the high 4's. I just wish I would get some comments.

me too ME TOO!!! I started at 5.5 an am now at 4.0 and dropping fast! but no comments as to why...which tells me some people have to be giving me 3s and lower with no comments. and I really thought this was my best entry to date.
