I disagree on forcing comments on any score given. There is also another benefit to this site. We can learn what a diverse general population feels about our individual creations. We all bring into our photographs feelings or emotions that are personal to us. Any negative comments are taken personally. Our voting does the same thing. Some photographs we just don't like, period. We vote on the impact of the photograph on our personal preferences. By the comments I received in this current session, I know how people feel about some things and little about photographs.(I didn't want to give away my photograph yet.) I don't brother about the low scores but do appreciate the ideas I've received to improve my work. The effort it would take to make things more objective are not worth the extra time it would take to evaluate each and every photograph submitted. Besides this, my mom said " if you can't say anthing nice don't say anything."
