Was at 6.5 before my DQ
This is my first DQ and i thought i did what was acceptable within the Advanced editing rules.
In the rules Gradient layers are allowed.
OOH WELL.

I haven't budged since vote one. Fortunately, for my sanity, I know exactly what I did wrong after recalibrating my screen, only to find major editing flaws previously unseen now bright as day. Sadly though I think many people think that I made a slick editing move(poorly executed)that I didn't make at all, which may be hurting my score.

You'll need to put the shot up in your portfolio before you can thumbnail it.

If only I'd have listened to my better half and not added too many elements. C'est la vie.

Just thought I would share to see which one is better.
My submission
After I figured out how to change dimensions without distorting.
I think the second one would have done better. Which do you think?

I know :)
However, if you'd seen Orussel's original post, and my original reply, you'd understand |

I think that the first one looked rather funny and therefore better as the second one. :)

I think most of these images would look better once the text is placed on the board and it's hoisted up a pole. I know I'm happy with mine even though I know it could have been improved.

Thanks for the comment
I just wish I would have figured out how to change and not distort my subject sooner.
