I haven't seen any more stinkers than usual, but there are some otherwise good photos that don't appear to be well thought out given the topic. In some cases, the title is so long you'd have to stop your car to read it. In others, I have no idea what the billboard is promoting. I see shots of actual billboards, vertical formats, questionable attempts to get text into the photo, etc. - but the photography is generally on par with most challenges. |

I am doing pretty well in this challenge, looks like a new personal best for me but it´s still early in the week so a lot can change, can´t wait till monday morning :)

I think there's an algorithm or a filter in place that weeds out the below 0 voters. ;)
I can't complain really, my score's above my average. For now, that's my goal, not to let my average go down.

I wasn't going to enter, then about 5 minutes before the deadline, I suddenly realized I had a shot for it, whipped into PS for a 2 minute (or less) crop, levels & USM, uploaded, figured out a title and entered in data, came back to look at how it would look and time had run out. Talk about down to the wire!

Like Brad, mine was just something I happened to shoot which I felt would look really good on a billboard, and might even be the kind of pic on a billboard. Had my scores turned off but just peeked, and it's not good.

A decent score, but I really would have done better if I cropped it a bit differently. I entered at the last minute. We all learn from our mistakes. Good luck all!

My score has gone down A LOT. I was at 6.6 yesterday morning and now I'm at 5.9. Weird to see that big of a drop.
Fortunately this isn't an entry I'm really attached to and I was never expecting higher than 5.5 so it's all good. |
