Did this picture a couple of weeks ago and although my wife liked it she is sometimes very partial to my work ;) so I thought I'd see if anyone else could offer some opinions on it.

The sky is so dramatic. Ain't nature amazing!!

Your wife was right! This shot is just great - especially like the sepia tone to it. Very dramatic - a crop with less of the foreground might make it even better.

ok now to let the cat out of the bag...this is actually two of my images put together to fix a boring sky...

I think you did an amazing work here!
The result is really great. I think that some USM over the left round tower would add a little bit to a missing contrast there, but that's the only thing I would change.
The tone is wonderful and it looks very dramatic and interesting.
I love it.

Dramatic was the first word that popped into my mind, also.
Nice work combining the two photos. I'm not keen on the half building on the left. In my opinion, the photo could be improved by cropping the left side. I didn't wait for the sky photo to load, is there anymore room on the right side, I would extend it over a bit to allow the viewer to follow the view out of the photo.
Just suggestions. The photo is great the way it is. :D
