umm...i may just be naive, but i thought the votes were only updated every hour? How do you already have you statistics?

Unlike unpaid members like us the paid members hav a button to check their scores at any time. Soon to become a member so I can join in the fun and post to the other challenges... |

for us members we have an update button it keeps us chained to our keyboards and makes us feel superior.....lol

As expected I'm getting hammered. You would have to have been born in the 70's to understand "the Essence" of my photo but I wish people would show at least some sense of humor.....Whateverrrrrr!

 This was an outtake concept, quickly set and shot after ruling out "artifacts from the 70's". Scoringwise, even this little test shot probably would have done better than my entry. DPC voters seem shy from the complex and stick with more literal interpretations of the challenge. |

Was just having fun - I didn't enter this one due to lack of time.
The Wrestling Team photo work comes first and last weekend was the CIF Divisional finals (3 new records set - 13 of 14 guys in the finals, 10 came out in 1st place, team set a new high score record in the state, and my son took the most outstanding lower weight award too)
Next weekend is the Master's Tournament, top 3 in each weight class advance to the state finals the following weekend.
Ya'll safe for a while!

Anyone else think this is going to be a VERY low scoring challenge. I've only seen a few images I liked. So far, this is the most unimpressive batch of pictures I've rated on DPC. Goodluck everyone.

From what I saw so far there was more 60's than 70's.
Lot's of artifacts, hippie shots, Vinyl but very little "essence" of the era.
I assume there will be lower scores because there's not much that's terribly moving. |

Hey Justin, One of the perks you get for buying a membership is an UPDATE button that let's you see your latest score when you click it. Very addictive! |
