Yes, it's always a cloudy day in my world. My photography sucks; ...hell, I suck! I just ordered a 20D and am so bummed about it. Now my images (and I) are going to suck even more. :-(

back to Nuno's comments about wedding photography - No two wedding photographers seem to agree on what to shoot, how to shoot or even how many to shoot.

One big name pro claims to use a Nikon 4Mp DLSR in Med JPG - and get 20x30 prints that are saleable.

One photog shoots 1500+ pics in an 8 hour wedding...others shoot 400.

The best advice i get was: shoot RAW in the church - the formals, the ceremony. The reception and outside shots can be JPG.

And for testing purposes...here are 2 unprocessed 300D pics - just cropped, nothing else. camera is set to default parameters. I tried to lessen in-camera sharpening and could not get it back in PP, so default seems to work best (for me) Both were/are JPG captures. I have a RAW one I took to compare, but have not looked at it.

Not L glass, not Di/DX glass..

Vivitar all manual lens, M42 mount on extension tube
