That is ok you don't have to buy. Lets see if we can just get 5 people to buy one of Kaveys prints. I am sure she would appreciate six more sales.

GSD?

German Shepherd Dog...sorry just the common abbreviation.

Just lost one of my bulldogs the other day. Broke her chain and climbed off in the wild hog pen. I found her the next day with her rib cage opened up. She was trying to get to the house after she got cut and made it about 2/3 of the way before she died. Just bled out.

Not trying to depress you, it just made me think of Rascal. Hope your dog pulls through. Good luck to both of you.

Kavey's Profile

Buy one of the photos. Post it here when you buy. If five people buy and post I will buy one.

Well, it has been done!
Mr. James Staton, I can`t thank you enough!
And all of you guys as well. I'm sorry it all looked (sound) "soliciting", nobody had to do that! As i wrote to rex07734 on a PM, I've found out that this website goes beyond photography. It's about building one hell of a community. A friendly relation. It's damn easy to see that this is not only built by good photographers, but also by good ppl! I can't think of a way to thank you all enough!

Made my day (my year to tell the truth LoL).

I sure will! I once posted that I was afraid of going around with the camera, cz of thieves and stuff!
After some posts on that thread, I realized that it was BS. since that, the camera is on me every single day!
Even though it`s not the greatest camera in the world, I`ll surely bring in photos of my city, and from every place I happen to be!

Ok I am making the initial charge and buying two prints from Kavey. One question though which is better Matte or Glossy print?
02/13/2005 05:54:07 PM · #64
Never mind I went ahead and bought two matte prints of this one.

Now people start buying.
02/13/2005 05:54:15 PM · #65
glossy is like the normal 4x6 style you're used to at like a 1 hour photo or whatever -- that is usually prefered.

Not sure exactly what matte is -- but I would assume on almost letter-type paper -- could be wrong.

Awww darn I'm too late for the gift membership... :(
Oh well. Maybe I can scrape some change together... heeheehee

EDIT
Well I checked my Paypal account and discovered that I actually had a balance in there! So I'm official now and no longer the illegitimate child. :D

After reading about the measures everyone took to get scuds in, I figured I was missing something by simply being a registered user. So I jumped in. I didn't read the fine print, will this make my pictures better, or do I have to work for that?

You are afforded more than twice as many opportunities to hear how you could do better ... which I believe is the point of the site in the first place, and hopefully means you'll get better twice as fast. Welcome and good luck.

Congratulations to all of you on a unique and worthwhile cooperative project -- not many problems get solved in one day!

Well I feel this thread has made a few happy people today,
good night all, time for bed,
Paul.

My goodness me, thank you so much to those of you not only considering purchase of one or more of my charity prints but also working to market the project for me.

I'm overwhelmed. Very touched.

It's a very worthwhile cause. Conserving the wildlife we share our planet with can only benefit us and our descendants in the long run.

The project finishes at the end of this month so I am grateful for any additional sales before that time.

THANK YOU ALL!

I'm a little puzzled about this all!
I logged yesterday afternoon, the time of my last message. And then logged back today, and the info shows that the subscription has expired.
Any idea why?
