Just started to put together our website recently and a dry run of the site revealed a problem with rollovers.
Every time you load a page with a rollover IE has a drop down banner that says its preventing active content from harming the computer!
Definately something I would like to avoid having a potential customer told!
ImageReady uses java to execute rollovers and when I remove them the problem goes away, what can I do to fix this?

Any suggestions would help.

to clarify: are you using java or javascript? when i do rollovers i use javascript and i could help you with that code.

It is JavaScript produced by ImageReady

The IE notice says:
"To help protect your security, Internet Explorer has restricted this file from showing active content that could access your computer. Click here for options..."

Is it just because the file resides on my hard drive and not a server?
I am not good with JavaScript and that is why I am trying out Adobe's program to hopefully do it for me

The rollovers are images if it helps any.

Funny...I never had that problem, when I did mine through ImageReady. Are you putting it into GoLive also after Imageready?

I am not using GoLive.
Imageready lets you export everything from it.

I have no idea why you would get that erro but I have found that when programs generate code to handle things like this they end up generating extraneous code. It's best just to write yourself. Here's a template for it just substitute in the name of files and stuff where it's necessary and it should work for you.

It looks complicated but I can try to answer any questions you have.

I will try that today and I will try to get back to you on how it worked, the code ImageReady produces is very messy
