Have you taken photos on the beach (activities, personal, weddings, etc)? Please post some of your photos and tell us what lenses / filters you used!

I am hoping to find some UV vs Polarizer filters and compare the two for beach portraits.

Beautiful photos! Do you have any of people on the beach? Faces?

Lens: Canon EF 17-40 mm f/4.0 L USM
Focal length: 17mm
Filter: B+W Polarizer

Here are more beach shots, although most of them are vacant beaches without people in them.

I love "feeding the gulls". Was the wedding taken in tahoe? :)

thanks, yes it was taken at Lake Tahoe. We just stopped to admire the view and this couple was getting married. So I snapped a ton of pics, they came up to us after the ceremony and we exchanged email address and I sent them some pics and they were very grateful, as the brides mother took some pics but they came out bad

When I first saw that spot (back in 2001), I called my husband and said "I found a place for us to renew our vows!" I was there on a snowy day and it was so beautiful!!! I also saw a wedding there that very snowy day! poor bride was freezing. so beautiful :)

an outtake from my goofball nephew's christmas card shoot. after 30 minutes being barefoot in the cold, he was clearly over it by the time this one was taken...but i love it because he totally nailed my 'you have got to be kidding me' expression after my asking him to smile--just one more time. :)

These were my son taken at Torquay in Australia. He hates having his photo taken so I have to snap between him growling at me. I took the Sony out for a test drive when I first got it and it behaved wonderfully. No filters on these.
