For members, in the portfolio, it would be nice to have some sort of alert or ticker to let you know that example: "2 photos have been commented on in the past week". Bad Idea?

I recently joined DPC and thought a few of the images in my portfolio might get comments.. As it is now, wouldnt you have to check each individual photo to look for new comments?

I've posted a similar thing in another forum.

I think it's a great idea!

I wish we had something like that in our profiles.

It would be a great idea, I've been wishing for soemthing like that as well. Currently, if you go to your profile page and click on "comments received" it'll show any new comments to your portfolio images.

well, if you're sick/bored enough of only hitting the update button, you can memorize your stats, then flip back and forth between your dpc home page and your profile, just waiting for a number to change in one of the stats...
