Canon EF 24-105mm f/4.0L IS

Finally got some good snow where it didn't rain afterwards. Although the sun did come out, so a good portion of it melted...darn it...but here are some pics:

BTW...aren't birds supposed to fly SOUTH for the winter?

Oh - and was so happy to finally be able to take more pictures that I forgot that my ISO was set to 800. Grrrr....I need a 20D. the 10D shows every single little bit of grain!

Not too pleased with the bright sun in the first shot, but ces't la vi.

I am so jealous.

Out here in Phoenix we have had to suffer through the upper 70s the last couple days. We aren't ever going to get any snow that way. Dnag. You east coasters have all the fun.

Well, got to go change into my winter shorts now... :)

Check out the pile we got yesterday.

That's at 10:30 ... it snowed until supper time.

Hey Pitsaman, Sorry we didn't connect. I shot some of the same shots this week heading to Grand Junction. Blue Mesa Res. was really nice yeaterday, frozen fog on trees, reflections, and fog between hills and lake. Maybe next time. Your Beuna Vista shot looks like Mt Harvard. I really like that overview area. Van

you can keep your 12, but i'll raise you to 88 degrees i saw at the bank 2 days ago on bell road in glendale. hehe.

i'm from MN, and they are getting pounded w/ snow today! hehehe. i rode my motorcycle to scottsdale for a meeting. Weeeeeeeee!

Just heard we are getting 12 to 24+ inches of the white stuff tomorrow. I must admit I do not like it that much.

I'd love to take snow photos - but getting around to find a scenic spot in snow is not so easy. And my husband thinks I'm nuts!

I won't be able to go until Monday, most likely. It's supposed to stop mid sunday, but If I can get out I have a prior obligation. Therefor it'll have to be lunch time on Monday. :(

A quick one I just shot of Spock who has just gone through surgery and has to wear that dang elizabethan collar.I know he can not wait for more snow. He loves it.

Some early shots of the blizzard taken this morning here in Brooklyn NY.

The snow is much deeper since then.

I didn't bother getting dressed today because of the snow, and my lack of intention as to going out in it, but My father decided to take a walk tonight, at 8:30! so I figured I'd get dressed, grab my camera, and run out to catch up with him. LOL.

I went out again (Yes I am crazy) and got some night shots.

Got to work on the bunch, but this one had me laughing. Its very rare to see cabs in South Brooklyn.

Weather is still brutal out there.
