I am rather curvaceous, and I was born in Germany.

My husband, an Aussie, gave me this nickname 20 years ago.

His explanation:

"'cause you're a cute and curvy thing made in Germany"

My username represents all that is right in the world . ..

It is also my first name and middle initial. In college, I was working in a bookstore, and we signed our time cards First Name, MI, Last Name. Because the space was small, mine looked like it was signed KarmaT. The manager's daughter thought it was my name (she was like 10 at the time), and it has stuck -- solid.

La Luna means "the moon" in Spanish.
An old friend used to called me "moon" when we were teens and I'm still using that nickhame since then... some of my friends don't know my real name, they know me just by Luna...
:)

Arcanist: A wizard or spellcaster who has uncovered well-hidden knowledge or wisdom.

- I'm a recovering addict of Everquest. Thank God I got this camera and found this site and community or I would have lost a lot more of my life to Sony's World.

ahaze: Andi Hazelwood. Boring, but sounds cool. I am a haze!

While running a corporate retreat with my husband, we recieved many nice thank you cards, and repeatedly I was told I was "most gracious" as a host.
Also as my name is Grayce or Grace, people sometimes just added the last syllable.(sp) So Gracious I became, and have used it for years.

My best friend is lost in EQ 2. He finally has software that can outdo his hardware. At least he is nolong playing the korean game (dark ages). He maxed out at that one...

I was bestagents when i joined - my wife and i sold real estate for a while, and that was a great moniker for email.

I recently changed to Professor Fate. A character in one of my favorite movies, "The Great Race". He is the villain, and his great plans to get the hero come to naught. I have lots of evil ideas and plans, but they come to naught. Also, i just went back to school to become a math teacher. See my signature - Max was Prof Fate's assistant, and The Button was what set the machines in motion, or in my case, the shutter button.

Mine is a tomato variety. I needed a nickname several years ago and combed through a seed catalog. I am a chef by trade and absolutely love tomatoes.

Also sometimes with '98' on the end (where 'colda' is not available). '98' is the number I wore when I used to play American Football.

My favorite photographer was Edward Weston. He was a founding member of the f-64 group. I'd like to be half as good as him.

My user name stems from a book title by John Berger et al, which funnily enough was also based upon the BBC television series of the same name. Berger was a Marxist art/cultural critic who basically asked the question of who defines art? Who decides what goes on gallery walls for the public to see? Who intentionally mystifies art and retains it for a selected minority of experts? The Elite.

My name is Kavita and Kavey is just an affectionate version of it that started when I was at university and I use it myself on most internet sites.

School friends called me Kav (if they were being nice) and all sorts of other strange nick names too such as Super Bionic Chicken, Guppy and Salami Girl (not as rude as it sounds!)

LOL!

The first part of my name is related to my work. I am a K9 Officer for the Canada Border Services Agency. My current partner is Snoopy, a 4 year old beagle. I added "boy" to the beagle cuz I wanted something a little more. "Man" didn't sound right, soy I chose "boy" for a better flowing username. Hence, Beagleboy.
