What about a yearly challenge theme "The 4 seasons" ? Starting 01/01/2005 and ending december 12/31/2005. 4 entries mandatory, 1 per season. There must be a link between the 4 submissions. Voting started at the end of each season for the previous one. The ribbons to whom have the best summed score allong with the 4 challenges.

That's a WONDERFUL challenge idea. But I'm not sure it can be judged in 4 separate segments, as how would you "limit" those segments to people who will do all 4? Just one judging, of 4 images collectively, maybe?

Yes, but I think to be consistent they all should be taken in the same week. You just need to travel the globe. ;)

well to make this REALLY long you enter a photo 4x a year (every 3 months) but voting is on the whole package (all 4 photos together) in on fell swoop about a year after the challenge started :)

Konador started a project like this beginning in 2004. I wonder how he has done with it?
