This one is not mine, but I laughed pretty good at this one. Little rat ate so much he fell asleep in his food. Reminds me of when I was fat and happy... wait a minute, I still AM fat and happy! Yay!

My girlfriend showed me that picture, and even though I don't care for cats, I thought it was hysterical :) |

My kitten attacking my middle cat, whom had crawled into a sleeve of my shirt on the floor (doing laundry). I was going for the cat up the sleeve shot, then the kitten jumped into the act!
Unfair Attack

The first one isn't mine, and I don't condone pointing guns at cats, but ...
This one shows my dog's weakness for beer! Would you try to take it off him?

It's not exactly a pet, but I thought it was a kind of funny animal picture: Jet Buzzard. |

Kollin, I love the lighting in your cat shots. I am going to try some with my 'new' flash diffuser, wondering how you did yours?

hey thanks, Kandy! I also liked your wide-eyed terror pic and your sly-eyed bub pic.
re the lighting, they are all different. . let's see:
1) lying on a black leather chair, lit by a 500 W lamp with a white sheet as a diffuser. the trick is to have the sheet a few feet away from the lamp so that it in effect turns into a huge diffuse light source.
2) window light from outside
3) plain old room light
4) same as 1.
5) window light.
6) on cam flash - dialed down a stop
7) on cam flash - dialed down a stop
hope this is useful info! :)

Here's a picture of my wife throwing a bone to our physco dog, Buddy. He's catching it in mid-air. Shot isn't that good... little blurry and the shadows don't help either :)
