I took this photo at a local Garden, the lighting in this area was very blue and I liked the contrast of the blue and pink - please let me know what you think, thanks!

Cthenk,

I like this one but I'm unable to view the larger version of it. The tint doesn't look bad at all though, from what I can see. I think this would be an incredibly powerful flower shot if the background behind the flower was solid :) good shot :)

I liked your shot titled "Daisy" the best. It is a very powerful shot.

Pair of slippers is nice, but I agree with Swash'... Daisy is superb.

I prefer the Pair of slippers to the Daisy and to all the others.
I think it's just beautiful and I love the intensely blue background and the well defined edges to that bud are just great.
I really like it and it would be an 8 or 9 in a challenge for me (if it matched the subject, obviously I couldnt give it that for the pencils challenge! ;)

i have to agree. the daisy shot is wonderful. love the position of the flower and the leaf. great composition.

the slippers shot: to me the blue looks unatural. it looks like a typical cyan cast. i could be wrong. it's a nice shot though.

I really like the pinks and blues with the green neutralizing. Good sharpness on the slippers and depth.

I like the pair of slippers shot. Get rid of the flowers in the background and make it all green is the only thing.(or solid) I dont like daisys so I dont really know if those are good shots or not.

Grats on some good photos

Cthenk, I like the daisy picture the most, just beautiful and love the detail in the leaf and the composition.
The pair of lady slippers, would suggest you blur the background or darken it to make it less intrusive or perhaps do some paint job to it as you did with Daisy Watercolor.
On the daisy watercolor (and its original), have you considered tilting the image somewhat so that the two stems would be more at a diagonal from the picture edge. Might make it more dynamic.
Also like the trillium image. It's a special flower to me as several grow in my garden.
Unfortunately, was unable to see any of the images at full size.
Thank you for sharing these.

Thank you all for your very nice comments!! The whole PS thing gives me a migrane....I can spend 'forever' trying to do things to it in attempts to improve it, alas I usually get so tired of it I just quit because everything starts to look the same. I'm a visual person. I've tried to read threads on improving my PS ability but need someone to look me in the eye and say "no not like thatlike THIS!" ;)

Anyway...thanks again for the comments - don't know why you can't see the larger image?

Thanks for looking!!
