Ever since I came to fort worth nearly 5 yrs ago, this abandoned building always catches my eye. when i first moved here i think it was turned into paintball place and i thought it would be the coolest paintball place ever but never got the chance to go there before it closed. so the other day i finally made the effort to go by there and take some shots of the window that has black running down the side of the building. when i was about to leave i thought i should go look through some windows and see what its like in there. well, this is the first thing i layed my eyes on. i thought it was really cool. i also noticed several places that had blankets and personal things. homeless fellows i guess but i saw noone so i squeezed my butt through the hole in the grate and went in to get some shots.

there were alot of doors and things and needless to say i was a bit scared, carrying over grand in my hands by myself lots of signs that people were there recently but noone to be seen. it was very windy and the wind was loud so i couldnt really here if someone was comeing or not. when i was taking this shoti was adjusting my cameras settings on my tripod and my heart was pounding from the eerie fealing that someone was comeing or watching or something. so i snapped and ran. it was my last shot inside the building. but that was all in the one room. i can only imagine some other things you may find in the huge building. if i had someone with me it wouldnt have been so bad. there were several little rooms that had blankets and coats hanging, set up like a bedroom, that i could not see into and wasnt about to go into. anyways just thought i would share my scary experience.

some other shots outside the building

Some nice shots there. Eerie. A perfect spot for a new horror movie. Expect to see some distorted human coming around a corner any minuet. I can imagine how scared you were, I would be. Creepy.

I agree with the others, you got some excellent shots here. I especially like the color ones, the staircase the most. Very cool!

You are definetly braver then I. :-)

Stern2 is so rad! If I had any money to my name, I'd want it on mah wall! I love pictures of walls on my walls.

Awesome pics!

And don't worry about the homeless, just bring food!

Food for photography. Good stuff.

oh my goodness!!! You went in there alone!? I don't think I'd be brave enough to look in one of those windows haha...I'd say get like 10 people together and go in at a time when there's still plenty of daylight left.

Well, it paid off though, those shots are excellent.

Fantastic shots - especially the staircase. But, girl, you are going to keep me up at night worrying about you now!!!!

Abandoned buildings are amazing....there's a former porn theater here that has some nice potential for cool photos...I've never had the guts to go in there alone, but I've been there a bunch of times exploring....they just started sealing up some of the doors, though, and I haven't gotten a chance to take any pictures yet.

Those shots are so cool...really give off that creepy abandoned vibe.

Try not to get caught for trespassing XP

Anybody else see the grim reaper in the back of that closet/room? Very nice pics and you photographed the grim reaper and lived to tell about it - not a bad day!

Man, so awesome. I've always wanted to explore abandoned buildings, but there aren't many near me. I drove to vegas and saw some, but nothing really big. That building looks so awesome. And you took some great photos.
