The rules for discussing photos in the current challenge are more or less nonexistent ... moreso a silent agreement. The rules need to be defined, though.

For now, antonabaya, I've hidden your thread, as it not only discusses your photo, but flat out posts the picture in the thread. I'll unhide it as soon as the week is over if that's OK.

This is really a fault on the part of us, the site administrators, so I apologize for all of confusion it causes.

I don't think a 2 day challenge would fly very well. When a challenge starts, there are hardly any submisions in the first 3 days. With people working 8 hours a day, having time for their kids and then trying to take photos, 2 days isn't really sugnifigant time to get a decent photo. That may give you what? And hour a day? That's just my 2 cents, but think we'd get a lot of hurried, less than good photos.

Just an idea but if we had 2 or 3 day competitions and we made available a week or more in advance what the challenges were going to be then people could pick and choose which competitions to enter. Right now I feel obliged to try and enter every week (and boy do I wish I'd not entered this week! :). With more challenges going on I might stick to only entering when I have an idea I really like.

And if that was the case we might have less photos to vote on too.

Just some idle thoughts.
