How about Platinum, Gold, and Silver Medals for the top 3 photographers of DPC for the year. The medals could be determined by an average of the individuals top 10 scores for the year. In other words each individual must have entered in at least 10 challenges. For example, although I know I would not be in the top 3, my average for my top 10 scores is 6.636. It would be interesting to see what others top 10 average is. Please post your top 10 average.:)
By the way here are my top 10 pictures for the year.

Well I would post except it would only be a top two (and one of them is decidedly average) :). I really like your silhouettes shot, and the owl is undoubtedly cool.

Oh and that hummingbird is stunning.

Edit: Ooops, I didnt realise it was 2004 only. Had to take out two images (one a 7 too) and so my new recalculated average for 2004 is 7.1767. Eight animals, one landscape, and an opportunistic shot. Guess I need to start shooting something else.

Actually, I wouldn't mind seeing a "best of the best" thread. I figure we have approx 104+/- Blue ribbons from 2k4. Enter them all as a free challenge, and we vote on them as the BOTB.

I know some photo's lose an edge, but if we change the titles (or add a second title) of the origional challenge, we'd then be able to know the context of the photo.

You guys are amazing, over 7+ average in top 10, that's so impressive, my hats off to you, my top ten pictures average out to only 6.234.

I'm not a contender for the top with a 7.038 average, but the good news is that I'm improving- my best photos are all from the last 6 months.

Not even close here points-wise!

I would much rather judge my quality by looking at the percentages, due to some challenges scoring high, others low.

Points-wise in the 7 or over catagory:

With only 1 entry above 7, and only 3 above 6, my top 10 averages just 5.995. Guess I need to get crackin'. :^)

Moodville, a couple of your pictures are not from 2004. With that minor detail aside, you are quite a remarkable photographer! Well done and inspiring.
