I mailed my form : )
That's the hardest part of the project for me ...

Are they all going to use the same background color?

The background behind the text will be the same color on all. It is also subject to change depending on what I decide later. If the project makes it to completion, or starts to get close, I will examine it a little closer.

I went out for a while this afternoon to shoot some letters... I found quite a few in a short time...

This project is currently full, but keep your eyes open. When the deadline (January 31) arrives and I don't have all the photos I need, I will be looking for more :)

Here's one of the first photos I've been playing with for the letter X (as a shape).

I've got a few other ideas, and as far as the 'shape' project goes, X is one of the easier letters to find (any intersecting lines will work) so I want to make sure I'm completely satisfied with my choice...of course, the hard part will also be to make sure it's the proper size/ratio!

simple and effective, I like it, I wonder whether the black background, makes the orange a little dark, however, this also is part of its attraction. (I think I must be my "pushme pullme" pantomime outfit)

I`ve a Soupgallery up, and I know where to get a "M" picture I already have it, just at the wrong angle :). Just need to find something starting with "M".

This project will require making a 2.75" wide by 4.5" high photograph of some arbitrary object that LOOKS like your letter. The object's proper name doesn't have to begin with the letter...

...

John in your email to us you have requested that Project 2 is Black and White.

For clarification is this genuinely Black and White, or are Sepia Tones OK.

(My vote would be for Straight Black and White)

No comments on my photo, anyone? I'm guessing the impact wasn't as strong as I'd hoped...I'd love to hear your suggestions or critique.

Edit: I'm noticing that, assuming it counts my views, nobody's even bothered to look at it yet...

I'll second that.

For the first part of the project, I'm assuming that it doesn't have to be an object. There is an action that starts with "T" that I was considering. Would this be okay? Sorry if this question came up already, but I don't remember seeing it.

I had requested 'object' in the first post in this thread... what 'action' do you have in mind?

Sorry, I didn't bother going over the posts again, I just looked at the paper I printed out from the PDF file you sent us. It just said "subject" so thought it could be anything.

The action was tickle. A G-Rated tickle. :) I wasn't sure if that's what I was going to do, just an idea.

I like this one too, but maybe cropping a bit tighter of the left to remove the tops of the doors. This may work, don`t know until seen :)

The other two seem a bit forced as the locks look like the`re suspended in the air.
