Thank you, everyone on DPChallenge for the yellow ribbon on my picture in the Time Passing Challenge! I feel so thrilled and happy to have finally received a ribbon after having entered 60 challenges. It feels like I've won an Academy Award!
Belonging to DPC and entering the challenges has helped to improve my photography so much. I feel so much more competent now than when I first started entering back in March 2004.
So, thanks again, fellow DPCer's for liking my picture. Receiving this ribbon has been so rewarding. Not only did your high scores on my photo, "...only for a moment, and the moment's gone...", win a ribbon for me it also made this picture the top scoring photo for my camera (the Panasonic FZ20) and the very first ribbon winner for the FZ20!

You have really honed your skill and interpretations. Your use of your new camera shows how hard you have worked for and deserve this FIRST ribbon. Many more to come now, I am sure. Congrats to a wonderful woman!!

Kylie, you are such a nice lady! It IS fun having a DPC family, my Mom and Dad joined after I did when they saw how much fun it was and how much you can learn, too.
I'm very proud of them. Even though they are some of the oldest members on the site they get out taking pictures and entering them all the time. My Dad's picture in Black and White came in 22nd out of over 600, which is really cool.
This past summer while my parents were down in Colorado visiting we had such a fun time going out to take pictures almost every day. |
