During the submission stage of each challenge, the members- and (more importantly) invite-only challenge details are limited to those who are allowed to submit. Now, I'll be the first to say I'm not active on the submission front (due to my current financial situations and digital camera availability), but I enjoy thinking of creative shots I would take for each challenge should I have the ability. I ask that the details of a challenge be open to the public (while keeping submission private, of course) simply to allow everyone to contemplate unique and personal shots before being influenced by photograph submissions after the challenge is over.

That sounds like a great idea. I only become a member recently and before that I always wanted to know exactly what it was the members were trying to shoot. This may even influence someone to become a member if they think of something that they would love to submit.

Just click on the 'Challengs' menu item at the top of any screen -- not on an item in the mouse-hover activated, fly-out menu, but on the word 'Challenges' itself. All of the current challenges are there for you to familiarize yourself with them.

Think the idea is fine.

But I want to remind you Delete Me (interesting users name) that good photography doesn´t have to be dependent on finance and camera type. It´s you who take the image not the camera.
My point is, submit and you will learn alot.

Best regards, Garlic

Here Here!

Go the point and shooters!

The camera helps, but all the 1ds and L lenses in the world aren't going to make a great photographer. It's about the eye behind the camera.

Having said that, I'll be writing santa a very long, very desperate letter in the hopes of scoring a dSLR. (The student lifestyle and serious photography don't really go hand in hand).
