Don't know exactly why, but I really admire this spirit of innovative thinking. Has anyone tried a pinhole lens on their DSLR?

If you're really handy with a lot of old FD lenses around you can also make a FD-EOS converter DIY style:
' . substr('//www.rit.edu/~andpph/text-figures/eos-fd-adapter-elmar-6272.jpg', strrpos('//www.rit.edu/~andpph/text-figures/eos-fd-adapter-elmar-6272.jpg', '/') + 1) . '
