I didn’t enter - but I almost entered this one, just felt too boring.
I thought I liked it mainly because it was my son (who plays eSports) and I am so proud of him and not so much a good entry so I pulled it. |

for this challenge, ostensibly to "show off" your editing skills rather than your composition/exposure skills, starting with a "boring" (or even a "bad") image seems perfectly appropriate.
IMO unless one feels highly protective of their overall average here I see no reason to not enter when you have an image available; some of my better scores/comments have been for those I was sure would flop ... |

Yea, not protective of my average — but it was one of those instances that I thought I was projecting. Although I did love the edit I did on it. But I thought it was being so proud of my eSports kiddo — mainly because when he was younger we were so anti-video games and now he is on scholarship playing video games LOL. |
