Just a reminder, everyone:

1. The challenge that rolls in tonight will be the first challenge of DPL Season V. The Tuesday/Weds nite challenge will be the 2nd one for this week. The Friday/Sat challenges are not part of DPL. The submission periods continue to be 2 weeks, and the voting period will be 1 week.

2. Your Team Threads are now visible at the top of your home page/forum stack. You and your teammates may communicate privately there, nobody else can see it. And, just as a reminder, the way this is set up you can't vote on your teammates' entries, so that's not an issue :-)

Saddle up and hit the trail, folks!

can we delay the start by 2-3 weeks?

Nope. It is what it is. But not to worry, you're just one part of a team and if you can't play at the beginning you ca hit the ground running later. Only the best scores from the team get counted each week.

From the FAQ: "Team Member Scores - Each week, there are two challenges that count for DPL - member (Sunday/Monday) and open (Tuesday/Wednesday)Paid members may enter either or both, while registered members may enter the Open challenge. The 4 best scores of team members are averaged together to make the Team Score for that week. A team member may only contribute one score each week to the team score."

The challenge announced at rollover tonight will be the first DPL challenge.

So we are off and running with "Trees X" , Minimal Standard Rule Set. Right?

Correct. The challenge has been reset from Minimal to Standard. Everyone on a team should have a team-specific thread immediately above the regular list of threads.

This challenge has been reset to Standard Editing, not Minimal.
