These are just wonderful. So much fun to play with. Great geek stocking stuffer or something.

UberOrbs/ Magnetoids

You can get them in the US at //www.thinkgeek.com

Anyone got other suggestions ?

If any employees had this on their desk or anywhere near a computer I would FREAK out! I can just see all the accidents that could come about. Great to wipe out a disk or mess up a monitor :)

I noticed that in the photos on the website :)

I can just see someone setting these on top of their monitor and then wanting to know why it is all messed up LOL

> These are just wonderful.

These are two magnets wrapped in football shaped glass.

> So much fun to play with.

Gordon, I'm thinking you must work for UberOrbs, right? Or ThinkGeek.com? I got these for Christmas and I'm still waiting for them to do something cool. I went to UberOrbs.com and watched every last video. I thought to myself, "Yup, mine do the same shuddering whizzzz thing. They're two magnets. Two magnets wrapped in football shaped glass. Magnets do that."

> Great geek stocking stuffer or something.

I got these in my stocking for just this reason, but ... they're two magnets. They're two magnets that say "whizzzz".

There's no arguing taste, so I cannot categorically state that this product is disappointing. Certainly, others may not agree; but to me, these are in the ballpark of Silly Putty -- and Silly Putty doesn't cost $19.99.
