I was wondering if the admin can add an additional feature of having a flag icon on our profile. It's just a suggestion but I think it will help improve the site's features.

I think that's a great idea.
11/11/2004 10:43:46 AM · #3
and maybe make it show up next to your name in the forums, as well.

Yeah that's correct. It will be shown next to your nick. I hope the site council see this message.

Hah, sounds like me when people ask what state I came from. My question to them is "How recently?" -_- I've lived in 5 states within my 18 years and I identify with them all in parts so I don't really know whether I'm a Hoosier, Michiganian, Georgian, Jersey Girl, or SoCal Girl (translation: Indiana (2 years), Michigan (7 years), Georgia (2 years), New Jersey (4 years), and California (3.5 years)).

I guess it's out of style nowadays but people from Michigan used to be called Michiganders.

If you want to display "your" flag, you can.
I don't think you need to encourage this type of nationalism.
(I'm not happy with the pigtails as it is.)

edit: to see if I got that image tag right this time...and again

You're probably right, lol. We didn't really call ourselves anything when we lived there so I kinda guessed at it. I just would say I was from Michigan.

Well I think it's better if they put the flag that you desire or the flag that you have chosen for your profile. I think flag by country is good.

We had another name for Jersey Girls too, but I can't put it ib the forum. And I'm sure it would not apply to you.

I think it's better if it is about your nationality. It's like an Olympic version of photography where we have Gold, Silver and bronze. They can also compute the number of Golds this country has, something like that.
