I was ready to submit. I had my pic by 3am, cropped, resized and ready to go. I decided to sleep on it. I looked at it again today and it looked like ass. There is so much light polution in my room it just all looks too dark. I've also only looked at the pictures on white backgrounds because that is what dpchallenge uses.

It would look better on black. I wish for this challenge dpchallenge could use black backgrounds so there is less ambient monitor light to pollute our eyes. Regardless....

My room is too bright during the day to really enjoy my pic with my usual settings, however, on my laptop's panel it looks great, even in this light.

Now, before I submit my pic I want to adjust my gamma correction and everybody else should do the same. Start Photoshop, run through the wizard (or however you do it). I'll do the same tonight with no ambient light (as the directions require) adjust levels on my pic and submit.

I will follow your instructions, just so long as you promise my family won't be harmed by the blade nation.
