If you had one morning to shoot in Las Vegas, what would you shoot?

In or near? The Valley of Fire is pretty cool if you have your own transportation while there.

Hoover dam is also just a modest drive outside Las Vegas.

If you are talking just walking distance in the strip area, the monorail is pretty cool.

In, no transportation. The monorail idea is cool.

Then I'd suggest what I did, but mine was on a Friday night: Take the monorail from one end of the strip to the other and do a walkabout back to your own hotel. In my case, I was staying at the Hilton Grand Vacations, toward the north end of the strip, so took the monorail to the MGM grand and walked back. I'd think in the morning, you might get a lot of good lightplay between all those interesting buildings.

I was there several times over weekends and have a friend who lives there, so got to see a few things outside the strip.

When someone tells you something is in the next block . . . A Vegas block is not a normal block . . .it is quite a bit longer/larger
