The last of the renown group of French "humanist" street photographers died today at 97. She was very good.

She was Swiss so I noticed that too. Born in St Gingolph, a village I could see across the Lake Geneva when I lived in Chardonne.

Note that one of her most famous photos was staged, she asked her husband to run.
