It was a beautiful day here today, so I thought I'd travel south and see what I could see. This is Pike's Peak:




I also paid a visit to the cliff dwellings in Manitou Springs

Very nice indeed... what a gorgeous place! I remember visiting Colorado several times growing up. Can't wait to get back there!

I really like the cliff dwelling shot... that would be an interesting print, if the sky were cropped out and bits were touched up... lots of appeal in Native American-themed art! :o)

Yeah...I'm blessed to live in such a great place ;)

Thanks for the notes. These are all straight out of the camera, but I intended to work on the cliff dwelling shot(s) and see how they turned out.

When God made Colorado he new it was the best yet and couldn't be topped. So he decided the only thing he could do was make it bigger and he called it Texas. I was stationed in Colorado Springs for a year or so and it is the only other place in the world this ole boy would ever live.
