My shot did very well - thank you everyone.

But I wondered if this one would have done even better.

I didn't put it in the challege because you can't see his hand,
but his expression is great...

Another outake is this one:

Thank to whoever add a comment.

I waited and waited, but after a while it just felt too bad being the only msg in the page without any reply, so I decided to reply to myself. Don't worry about my feelings. I am just fine. ):

I like your orginal shot best. I feel its better to see his hand with the bow.

I like the second shot because I can see more of his facial expression. But it also cuts off the right hand.

So I would have to say the first one is better :)

the one where you see both hands is technically better but i would much rather look at the one with the funny facial expression, it is one i will remember, the other is forgettable...but yes this is a website that when you look at a picture you think...what is wrong with it? instead of what do i like about it? and when you cant find anything "wrong" then it scores decent. but if there is any flaw to it whatsoever then shame shame on you.. lets just forget about how it makes you feel and just worry about techinical flaws....right? isnt that how we do it?

ok, ok...... i know noone was really doing that on this thread but i just needed to vent

sorry :(

Thank you guys, for taking a moment to comment the shots. It is good to know that for once I choose the right shot. LOL.

IMO , I don't think it's so much a matter of "THE HAND" , we know where the hand is . The thing I noticee about this shot is how the background & angle of the shot changed between the 2 . The second shot fills the frame much better but the wall confuses the background .

I like the shot you submitted better. I think the other one is cropped a bit too much and looks cut off. My opinion, for what it's worth...

I agree. You picked the best of the group. Hey, that is a talent. Do not go and second giess yourself. lol

Hi yea127,
I like your entry the best. I voted and scored it high. Great shot!

This was one image I thought shone but also seemed to miss. I think the 2nd is the better communicating image. Maybe the guy would actually pose for you as a musician he would know the best position for hands and arms.Might get something in B?W for next challenge ( if you are cheeky).

Your original is so much better than those other two and frankly I am surprised you would even have to ask, the choice is so obvious to me. Your original shot is very good, well deserving a top 20 in the challenge. It has much nicer backround and you dont cut off his hand. I gave it a 7, the other two I would probably have given 5, both of them.
