Is a scene which contains mostly sea or lake a landscape if there is a bit of shore or distant land visible?

Does a landscape with people need people to be a major element or just present? If the people dominate does that become 'People in a Landscape', rather than 'Landscape with people'?

29 entries in already. I'd personally rather not try to "define" the challenge now at this point.

I agree with Barry here, but I will add that a seascape/riverscape/lakescape/skyscape has always been considered to be part of the concept "landscape" here at DPC.

Thanks Bear. That helps.
