Again this was an in-house project where I used straws and tie them up with the rubber band to create some uneven shapes including circle, oval etc. Make them stand over a paper that had more of orange/red/yellow colors. Attach the base of straw to the paper with the clear shipping tape from the 4 side.

I placed a flash light underneath so that I get the light on the paper as well as the base of straw so that when I take a shot from the top, it doesn't look uneven light as I placed another light from the top with low power so that it doesn't overexpose the top part of the straw.

I took a photograph using macro lens and focus on the tip of the straw and took a few shots to get what I wanted :)
