This is a copy of what I posted in the Outtakes thread which on reflection didn't seem like the best place

A comment, with an implied request, in support of the educational aspects of this site...

I always appreciate it when photographers include information on the lens they used, as well as enough information to determine if the camera was a full frame or cropped sensor model. For the Perspective Compression challenge in particular it would be great to see information on the lens and camera for more of the entries.

Also given the range of some zoom lenses a note in the photographer's comments on the actual focal length used for zoom lens would be icing on the cake!

I always try to list the focal length used in 35mm equivalent ... sometimes I leave it out for composites.

I wish (more) people would go back to listing a summary of the setup and editing steps too -- this site is "supposed" to be about peer-to-peer education ...
