Me NEITHER! I'll capture them and set them free, like I do moths. But houseflies still need to die!

They are in incredible and beautiful and almost like they incorporate cellophane or fine plastic film instead of living, structured tissue.

Who knew??
First time I ever saw an earwig was about 1993 or so. Until then they had not reached our locality. A couple years later they were rampant, and I mean *everywhere.* Turn over any rock and you'd find hundreds. They must have picked up some natural predators since then because their population is now much smaller, but they are still really common.
