My battle with dementia continues, But I have found and joined a support group which I attend mondays and thursdays, the lady and staff who run this are fantastic and care for us so well.

So photography has taken a bit of a back seat at the moment, although I am not entering as manychallenges as before, the fire still burnns and splutters,

Our group is equally men and women, and we average 20 or so for each session average age is in the 70s and we have a wide variety of occupations and everyone is there for a ....good .time and the good food of course !!!!!!

Good to hear Nick!
Social interaction is a huge contributor to maintaining a positive outlook. Having friends that are facing the same challenges as you are is definitely a positive thing. Don't forget about us!

Thanks for the good news. Keeping yourself active is certainly a huge help. I'm pleased every time I see one of your entries in a challenge.

Great news, Nick. It does help to be surrounded by understanding people. May be take some portraits for challenges and combine the two? ;)

Yes! Show us your new friends!

Hey, why not recruit some of your new friends?

Taking and commenting (thanks!) on photos should be effective and (relatively) inexpensive mental exercise ...

That's great news, Nick! It's going to have a hugely positive effect on your life. I have been engaged with a group like that on the Cape that's run by the local art museum, focused on art & interaction, but it has gone dormant during Coronavirus. However, it gave me my introduction to "coloring", and prompted me to get my own set of markers etc, and that's my go-to activity when I find myself drifting off :-)
