After watching this video, I will try to be more careful when going there at night. I have been there hundreds of times but didn't know about the snakes until know. Huge spiders are common and I usually hold my tripod in front of me.
Elephant Mountain
The view over Xinyi (Taipei City) is breathtaking (after the 600 steps consider it a reward)

Quite the variety of snakes, amazing to find all of them right off the path!
