was one of the greatest portrait photographers EVER, his portrait of Sir Winston
Churchill remains as one of the finest ever .
The challenge is to Take a photo in his style. |

It was previously suggested almost six years ago -- you were in favor of it then too ... ;-)

I recommend a "see the light" side challenge using Yousuf Karsh images.
Starting with one image, have people try to "see" the light. Explain where they think the light sources are. One source? Multiple sources? modified? etc. What's your opinion, and what evidence do you have to back it up?
When we've dissected one, move on to another.
Then when things open more, we do the Karsh challenge |
