For challenge purposes, are cropping and resizing considered the same?
To clarify, with cropping I can change the aspect ratio, resizing I can't.
So I'm asking if both are fine.

Unfortunatly, I'm positive that cropping is not the same as resizing, in Minimal rules.
Cropping is not allowed in Minimal editing rules.

Am I allowed to change the aspect ratio?
I'd classify that as resizing, but it's not clear. |

@  Venser Resize means (IMO) to reduce the size be reducing the number of pixels and keep the same aspect ratio. Changing aspect ratio is cropping. |

You can't do ANYTHING to the image to the image in Minimal except sharpen it globally, rotate it in 90-degree increments, clone out sensor dust and resize for submission. Changing the aspect ratio s NOT the same as resizing and it takes an armchair lawyer to even think it might be a loophole :-)
